“All One Body-2” for Morocco Campaign

Introduction

Wijdan is here, providing urgent relief to thousands of displaced people in Morocco after the devastating earthquake destroyed it early this month. Affected people lost their homes, families, and places of work. We are here, to provide them with their basic food needs.

These displaced people are suffering harsh circumstances, and we cannot stand by them without you, without your help, cooperation, and sympathy.

Campaign Story

Iman, a twelve-year-old girl, from the city of Marrakesh, lost her entire family except her father. She returned to the neighborhood where she lived and found it all turned into ashes. She searched for her family here and there among the stones, but they all died because of the earthquake.

Iman cries and begs for help. How will she live after that? Who will take care of her? Who will provide her with her needs after losing everything in her life…

Her house became a mound of stones, her family and friends were all dead under the rubble, her neighbors were all gone, and her school was smashed to the ground… What could she do???

 

Iman is not the only one who lost everything in Morocco. There are thousands of children and families who are now living in displaced tents, lacking food and clothes.

Those children, including Iman, were enjoying a beautiful life in the shadow of their parents, between the warm walls of their houses, dreaming of achieving their ambitions. Some of them dreamed of becoming doctors, others of engineers, policemen, women, and pilots, but all their dreams vanished in minutes, even in seconds. Close your eyes and imagine, losing everything in one moment!

We cried for them… their sadness hurt us…pain settled in our hearts with every image that came to us…but we must not stand still and watch, we should provide them with their basic needs…so that they can get out of this crisis, and deliver a message to them…we are with you, we are your family that you lost.

The case

There are currently thousands of displaced families who lack basic needs for living, such as food and clothes. With your assistance, we can enable 200 families to obtain food baskets or meals to satisfy their hunger.

 

We are here, with your donations, preparing hot food for the displaced families in Marrakesh, and with your help we provided the necessary food for a small child, or an old man, whose body has been exhausted by illness due to lack of nutrition.

 

This is a very good opportunity to alleviate tremendous human suffering. Donate as much as you can and always be assured… Giving comes back to you. Together, we can make sure there are fewer hungry children because of this huge disaster.

How can you help?

There are a number of methods and options available to help those who are affected by the earthquake. We currently provide urgent relief by providing basic needs such as food and clothes and relieving them of the difficult conditions they are now living in.

You may ask yourself; will I be able to save all these displaced people myself? The answer to this is that “a large rock cannot be carried by any one person”. This is also the case with this crisis that people in Morocco are going through. If every person donated a dollar or two, we would thus be able to provide vital, life-saving aid to them, such as food.

Who are we?

Wijdan Charity is a non-profit organization based in Turkey, established primarily to support relief and developmental projects for the poor people, and those who are in war and crisis zones.

 

 

We have provided relief to many afflicted people in different countries, especially after the earthquake that affected Turkey and Syria early this year. We provided those in need with various types of assistance such as food, clothes, tents, and other supplies necessary for them, and we continue to support them, with your cooperation, support, and donations.

 

“All One Body-2” is considered an extension of the “All One Body-1” campaign which was launched for the sake of helping people in areas affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria in February this year.
