Following in the footsteps of the Ansar and the Muhajirun, Islam of Mind helps new and returning Muslims navigate through the difficulties of their transition by providing essential resources and support.

Our primary goal is to provide new and returning Muslims with the necessary support and resources to successfully integrate into the Muslim community and develop into mature, impactful believers who can become agents of change for the community at large.

Our approach involves working closely to develop individuals and families, providing them with mentorship, traditional educational resources, and other necessary support.

To do this, we offer a New Muslim Care Package, to extend a warm welcome to reverts to the Deen and assure them of our assistance. Our package includes a combination of informational materials and practical items, complimented by an in-person evaluation of their needs and progress, which aims to make new Muslims feel embraced and encouraged.

How can your donations make a difference?

1. Reward from Allah: One of the greatest benefits of helping new Muslims is the reward from Allah (SWT). The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.” (Sahih Muslim)

2. Forgiveness of Sins: “Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter.” (Sahih Muslim) Helping new Muslims can be a means of seeking forgiveness and earning reward from Allah.

3. Strengthening of Community: By supporting and welcoming new Muslims, we strengthen our Muslim community. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever.” (Sahih Bukhari)

4. Spreading the Message of Islam: Helping new Muslims also serves as a means of spreading the message of Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “Convey from me, even if it is one verse.” (Sahih Bukhari) By guiding and supporting new Muslims, we are fulfilling the obligation of spreading the message of Islam.
