FORGOTTEN SOULS OF SHAAM

Support all of Bilaad As Shaam this Ramadan With the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East we will be utilising our expertise and years of field work in conflict zones to continue helping the oppressed and needy. How can we not love that which Allah SWT and his Messenger love?? Bilaad As Shaam has a special place in  our hearts and has been mentioned in countless narrations from our beloved Prophet SAW.

The world begins to listen, to understand, and to empathise with their plight. IQRA Charity, a beacon of hope, steps forward to raise awareness for these forgotten souls. Their mission is clear: to shine a spotlight on the plight of those who have been left behind and to rally support from compassionate hearts around the world. The story of the forgotten souls of Bilad As Shaam becomes a story of resilience, compassion, and hope. It is a story that reminds the world that in our shared humanity, there is no room for indifference or apathy. Together, with the support of organisations like IQRA Charity, we can make a difference, and together, we can shine a light into the darkest corners of the world. Hope prevails, and the journey towards a brighter future for the forgotten souls of Bilad As Shaam is well underway, thanks to the unwavering efforts of those who care.

WILL WE TURN A BLIND EYE? In the heart of the refugee camps of Bilad Al Shaam, a group of forgotten souls endures unimaginable hardships. They have fled their homes amidst a devastating conflict that has torn their country apart. Their stories are rarely told, their faces hidden behind a veil of despair, and their voices drowned out by the cacophony of a world that seems to have moved on. Amidst this seemingly endless darkness, a glimmer of hope emerges. It starts with a few compassionate hearts who cannot bear to see their fellow humans suffer in silence. They are ordinary people from all walks of life, bound together by an extraordinary mission - to bring light to the lives of these Forgotten Souls.

There are stories that are unimaginable and difficult to hear, these really are the most vulnerable of a society that has been neglected so much. Below are examples of cases we continue to help.

CASE STUDY 1

Mahmood - The blind boy

He suffered for years with excruciating pain until your donations made it possible for us to cover the costs of his surgery. He is one amongst many children who we care for and provide vital help which changes their lives for the better.

CASE STUDY 2

Umm Abdullah

We found Umm Abdullah in her tent unable to move due to her health condition. She has diabetes and has had to undergo multiple amputations to survive. With your help we were able to move her to better accommodation and give her medical care.

CASE STUDY 3

Kawther the burnt girl

Kawther received serious burns when she was younger and would be sent out by her family to beg. We intervened and with permission of her family took her into our care, she is now recieving regular treatment and has a stable home from where she recieves education.
