Help Desperate Children with Special Needs in Yemen Get Rehabilitation Treatment Against All Odds
Make a real change in the world by helping these children in their suffering from disability, famine, and war...
The Problem
The war in Yemen has been ongoing for almost 8 years now. The conflict and economic collapse have left millions of people without access to basic necessities like food, water, and medical care, resulting in a huge humanitarian crisis that has been described by UNICEF as one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world.
Children were the most badly affected segment in the Yemeni war. Some of these children are of special needs; some are born with disabilities, and hundreds of them became disabled after being injured in bombings. These children cannot live a normal life, enjoy their childhood, or continue their education. The burden has been placed on their parents, who are already struggling in the extremely difficult economic and living conditions the whole of Yemen is experiencing.

A Viable Solution
We, the Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation (HCF), rented a building and established a charitable rehabilitation treatment center to help these children with special needs by providing free rehabilitation treatment sessions to them and free education sessions to their families. The mothers and families of these children are grateful for the opportunity to receive this- much-needed treatment.

The Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation also works on providing the poorest families with food baskets, distributing Eid clothing to children, distributing meat for Eid Al Adha, and also working on providing clean water to those in need. Finally, many cases are in their homes and can’t come to the foundation building to receive treatment because of the lack of safe transportation during the war. We send buses to bring them from their homes to the foundation. All this is done with love and compassion under the supervision of Mrs. Mona Al Qaseer, the foundation's dedicated founder.
And because we are self-funded since 2018 our resources have become not enough to help all the children and poor families that come to us, however, we want to expand and help them, and this makes us need to collect donations because if donations are available we would be able to expand and help the highest number of children of special needs and their poor families.
HCF has served 700 children till today and needs a monthly running budget of $6000 that will be used for
- Pay rent for a new bigger building to serve more children
- Utilities; like electricity, water, landline, and internet service
- Salaries for employees; like trainers, specialists, accountants, and cleaners
Extra donations will be used for
- Maintenance of old equipment
- Buy new treatment equipment
- Buying hearing aids for children
- Providing safe transportation for children with special needs
- Providing poor families with food, and clothing
The financial support will help us expand our organization and make a significant impact on the quality of treatment and rehabilitation services that we can provide to children and their families. The donors' help will make it possible for us to make a real difference in the lives of these children and families in need.
The people managing the foundation are very qualified and have the necessary experience, they lack only donations to fund the treatment center and care for these children and their families.

How Can You Help?
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had a special love and concern for the people of Yemen, and he even advised the sahaba to treat them with kindness and goodness; it was reported by Abu Hurayra - may Allah be pleased with him - that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, peace be upon him, said:
“The people of Yemen have come to you. They are most gentle and soft-hearted. Belief is Yemen, and wisdom is Yemeni.”
And now by collaboration between Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation and Madinah, you can donate towards those kids so you receive the reward from Allah, not only for reliving the hardship of war and poverty of those children and families but also for relieving the hardship of disability off them. Prophet Muhammad may peace and blessings are upon him, said:
"Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever relieves a hardship, Allah will relieve a hardship for him on the day of judgment.
