WHO WE ARE
Yemeni International Agency for Development (YIAD) is an intermediary organization that seeks to restore prosperity and peace to Yemen and its people through implementing sustainable development programs.
YIAD is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit community based organization established in 2017 in Yemen.
YIAD is committed to providing interventions on based on need, respect and dignity of those receiving assistance; to build capacity aimed at strengthening self-reliance and co-creating longer term opportunities for sustainable growth and fulfillment of people’s potentials.
YIAD operates based on the following principles of non-discrimination, transparency, and clear Code of Conduct.
YIAD interventions are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at achieving a sustainable future for the people in Yemen.
YIAD’s approach looks beyond the immediate emergency towards resilience and create opportunities for longer-term livelihood reconstruction and sustainable development.
