Here's what happened:

Three months ago, Sadia suffered a stroke. Since then, she has been in the hospital and needs a heart operation to survive. Her condition keeps worsening every day.

However, her family does not have enough financial resources to afford her hospital costs.

Tragically, at the hospital, her husband also died. He refused treatment because he wanted their children to have at least some reserves to survive after his demise.

Her three little children have sold everything they had for their mother's treatment but still don't have enough. Now, the children have nothing left and are living in an empty shop.

They can't even find money to buy food to eat. Vulnerable, helpless, and starving, these children are struggling to hold on to hope.

Sadia’s heart operation is essential because she can't survive without it. She is succumbing to the ruthlessness of her condition. If she dies, she will leave behind THREE orphaned children without money, shelter, and warmth.

Unfortunately, unless her hospital bills get paid, the hospital and the doctors can not proceed with the procedures.

In Yemen, the resources are already scarce. The doctors can't afford the costs of medicines and equipment needed to proceed if the bills remain unpaid. That means, even if they desperately want to, healthcare professionals can't help anyone who can't afford to pay.

That is why it is crucial that all of us step forward to help our sister in need.
